Since we wanted a scooter to use to taxi our kids around, we reviewed mainly those that had a seat and foot rests designed for two people. We did look at the eGo because it is a nice scooter, even though it only seats one person.

Common Features

Scooters have a lot of features in common. In the reviews below, they will all have these features unless stated otherwise:

• Made in China or Taiwan
• Rear wheel hub motor
• Motor is DC brushless
• Batteries are sealed lead-acid
• Weight is about 300 pounds
• Front and back hydraulic disc brakes
